GAMEGRID LTD was born following a collaboration between XP-VR Virtual Reality Experience and RaceGrid VR Racing Simulators. Opened in October 2022, players can enjoy all of our epic VR experiences, along with some brand new gaming experiences – all under one roof! Find out more about our experiences.

XP-VR Virtual Reality Experience opens to the public at 62 Piccadilly, Hanley.
September 2019
RaceGrid VR Racing Simulators opens to the public at Lymelight Boulevard, Newcastle Under Lyme.
November 2019
XP-VR partners with Ubisoft Entertainment and Arvi Labs to add VR Escape Games to experiences offered.
July 2021
XP-VR receives a TripAdvisor “Traveller’s Choice 2021” Award for being in the top 10% of highly rated attractions in the UK.
January 2022
XP-VR and RaceGrid VR agree to join forces and trade as one joint company. The idea of GAMEGRID LTD is born.
March 2022
Negotiations begin to take on the lease of our new building at Clough Street East, Hanley.
July 2022
XP-VR receives another TripAdvisor “Traveller’s Choice 2022” Award for a second year running.
September 2022
GAMEGRID receives the keys to our new building and renovation works begin.
October 2022
XP-VR and RaceGrid VR close their individual stores and open together as GAMEGRID on Friday 21st October 2022.

Parking
3 hours free parking is available at Tesco Superstore (for Tesco customer use only). Clementson's Mill public car park is opposite the store on Clough Street (£2 all day parking). Use sat nav postcode: ST1 4FB. Disabled on street parking is also available.
Public Transport
Regular bus services to Hanley City Centre bus station from Stoke Central Train Station and all surrounding towns. Buses are operated by First Potteries, Arriva Midland and D&G Buses. Hanley Bus Station is less than a 5 minute short walk to the store.
Accessibility
Level access to our store is available via a separate entrance. Please notify us ahead of your arrival should you have any specific access requirements. An accessible toilet is available at the venue, and baby changing facilities
