Soulcalibur Broken Destiny Tournament (October)

October Retro Console Game Tournament of the Month.

Join us throughout October to take on our retro console game ‘Tournament of the Month’, featuring Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny

  History: Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is a fighting video game in the Soulcalibur series released in 2009 for PlayStation Portable (PSP). It uses many of the features of Soulcalibur IV, including its character customization mode. One of the goals of the game is “to target beginners and novice players with Soulcalibur IV’s content.” The game introduces two new characters to the series — Kratos from the God of War series and Dampierre, a new original character.

  Entry fee: £5.00 per entrant, giving access to qualifiers and tournament.

  Prize: Free VR Play Pass for x1 player (worth £45.00)

  Qualifiers: Take place during store opening hours from Tuesday 3rd October 2023 until Tuesday 17th October 2023.

  Tournament finals: Take place from 6pm on Tuesday 24th October 2023. (Unlike previous months, we’re running our finals a week earlier this month due to Halloween events).

  How to enter: Simply pop down to the store during the qualifiers period and speak to a member of staff to take part. Keep the tournament final date free just in case you qualify to take part in the finals!
